So today we’re going to talk about my favorite Chinese music. I’m a musician and a singer so l play ukulele, I teach ukulele and I also many times get a lot of requests from Chinese clients that listen to my songs. They asked me to sing some Chinese songs because I guess it’s very interesting when a foreigner performs Chinese songs.
今天我们来谈谈我最喜欢的中国音乐。我是一个音乐家也是一个歌手，所以我会弹尤克里里也会教人们弹尤克里里，我也多次收到很多想听我唱歌的中国听众的请求。他们请我唱一些中国歌曲可能是因为一个外国人演绎中国歌曲是非常有趣的事情。他们让我唱一些中文歌，可能是他们觉得外国人演唱中文歌是一件非常有趣的事情。

So of course, the song No.1 that everybody expects you to know is 月亮代表我的心, So if you translate that song into English that means the moon will present my heart. So this is one of the songs that I perform and I enjoy performing. Actually there is a version from a Taiwanese Singer called Fang Datong. He’s from Taiwan and he makes a really nice version of that song.
所有人都希望你知道的第一的是《月亮代表我的心这首歌》，如果你把那首歌翻译成英文，那就是 the moon will present my heart。这是我喜欢和演唱的歌曲之一。其实，有个叫方大同的台湾歌手也唱过这首歌。他来自台湾，而且把这首歌演唱地别有一番风味。

Okay so the second song that I really enjoyed performing is 我的心里只有你没有他. It’s a cover of a originally. It was made in Span. It’s a Spanish song, but it sounds much nicer in Chinese. I feel like the lyrics are exactly the same with the Spanish Song. But it sounds nicer in Chinese so I really enjoyed singing我的心里只有你没有他. Because it just makes a lot of sense.
我很喜欢唱的第二首歌是《我的心里只有你没有他》。这首歌源于西班牙，是一首西班牙歌曲。但它的中文版听起来更好。我觉得歌词和西班牙歌曲完全一样。但它的中文版听起来更好，所以我很喜欢唱《我的心里只有你没有他这首歌》，因为这首歌意义非凡。

Okay so the song No.3 is 我的歌声里. Maybe a three years ago it was very popular. You could listen to it on every street 我的歌声里. And a lot of people would ask me‘Ei, can you perform this song?” , so this is the song I also enjoyed performing.
我喜欢演唱的第三首歌是《我的歌声里》。大约在三年前，这首歌非常流行，你可以在大街小巷听到这首歌。很多人问我“诶，你会唱这首歌吗？”，所以这首歌我很也喜欢。

Also I used to live in Beijing and there is a famous song that calls Beijing Beijing. So this song is also very famous in Beijing. It’s, it’s a bit melancholic and sad ,but still very nice. I am not exactly sure who performs that song but if you know, let me know.
以前我也在北京住过，当时有一首叫《北京北京》的著名歌曲。虽然这首歌听起来有点忧郁和悲伤，但仍然非常好。我不是很确定谁演唱的这首歌，但如果你知道，请告诉我。

And lastly I really love Wang Fei. Because I feel like she has lots a lot of influence from the West and I really like a movie called CHUNGKING EXPRESS from Wang Jiawei . She is a good actress as well, and one of my favorite songs is Hong Dou and to talk it off.
最近我很喜欢王菲，因为我觉得她受到很多来自西方的影响和我很喜欢王家卫的电影叫《重庆森林》，王菲也是一个好演员。红豆是我最喜欢的歌曲之一。

Recently a lot of really good trap music is coming from a band, a hit hop trap band called High-er Brothers.They have become, recently they become very famous. Right now they are touring America. And it’s a complete hit a song about Wechat. If you got time, please check it out, it’s called High-er Brothers. So the best songs are made in China and Wechat.
最近很多很好的嘻哈音乐是来自一个叫** brothers 的乐队。最近他们非常有名气。现在他们正在美国巡回演唱。这完全是一首关于抨击微信的歌曲。如果你有时间,请搜一搜** brothers这个组合。他们的最好的歌曲是《Made in China》和《Wechat》这两首。
