歌曲创作背景:

这首歌是英国摇滚乐队披头士的一首歌曲，由保罗·麦卡特尼演唱、填词作曲，乔治·马丁担任制作人，收录在披头士第12张录音室专辑《Let It Be》中，于1970年3月6日通过Apple唱片公司发布。

当年的《White Album》录音环节已经看到披头士队员间一些严重的争论，趋向紧张的关系。麦卡特尼认为乐队因为多年没有作现场演奏，已失去凝聚力。这时麦卡特尼想起来母亲曾说过的一句话：“让一切都随其自然”，于是麦卡特尼开始构思这首歌曲。麦卡特尼母亲的名字叫玛丽，所以他用圣经中耶稣的母亲玛利亚来代指自己的母亲，于是诞生了“Mother Mary comes to me”这句歌词.1969年1月披头士在Apple工作室录制了正式版本。

歌曲于1971年3月16日，在第13届格莱美奖中，歌曲并被提名“年度制作”、“年度歌曲”、“最佳当代歌曲” 。2000年11月17日，《滚石》与MTV联合评选出自1963年以来最伟大的100首英文歌曲，该首歌位居第八。
