这首歌是1993年，由爱尔兰著名摇滚乐队U2乐队发行，这首歌是他们1993年专辑《Zooropa》的第五首单曲.

这首歌的背景是在说一个陷入了家庭暴力的女人的故事，她的未来看起来很凄惨，虽然非常渴望希望能像其它女人一样，身处于一个有爱的关系中。但是现实却是，她不得不和这个她不应该在一起的人相处。最后发现她被迫学会一些假如没有遇到这个男人，而不会去做的事情，比如抽烟。
