Danish-born Los Angeles-based artist Galimatias uses sound as a means of designing a space or creating a moment. Galimatias' soulful production and memorable melodies captivated a massive audience in 2015 with his debut EP Urban Flora in collaboration with singer Alina Baraz, a seamless exploration of a smoldering relationship between electronic music and R&B with over half a billion streams to date.
Galimatias went on hiatus to focus on developing his solo project. Now with the introduction of his voice, Galimatias continues to redefine his music with a design-first approach, apparent with the release of his single, "Blowback", featuring a more soulful pairing with his inclusion of Barbara Lewis' 1963 hit "Hello Stranger".
His new explorations marry his signature electronic sound with his love for hip-hop, soul, and R&B, which he credits for expanding his creative horizons at an early age.
