'Summer Nostalgia' is an EP that, over the course of six songs, tells the story of two people reconnecting after years of distance, flickering between the present day and the memories of their high school romance. It's a love story as well as a coming-of-age story. As we travel through the project, it becomes evident that Summer Nostalgia is more than a narrative about a relationship. The love interest in the story can also be interpreted as the personification of the protagonist’s hometown / roots. “Summer Nostalgia” is an ode to the ways in which our origins and foundational experiences define and inform who we are, how we see the world, and the ways in which we carry that with us.
