介绍: She has already published two books on her life and acted in one documentary movie, she is Lizzie, the thinnest woman in the world, and this is Frank Mars Learning English,I’m Frank Mars. ***music********************* Lizzie Velasquez suffers from a rare syndrome that prevents her from gaining weight. After being called the "World's Ugliest Woman," she made a triumphant comeback, rising to become a motivational speaker and teaching everyone the meaning of beauty. The Lizzie Velasquez Story is a documentary following the inspiring journey of 26 year old, 58- pound Lizzie from cyber-bullying victim to anti-bullying activist. Lizzie, from Austin, Texas, who is bravely spreading her survival story to help others, explained: "I took a year out after university and now I'm ready to start travelling to give talks in different States. Despite the chances of a medical breakthrough in the future and the possibility of a treatment, Lizzie insists she is happy with her appearance as it is. Here’s a TV interview on Lizzie:(interview)***************** She said: "I would never ever ever change my appearance even if I could. It has taken me so many years to accept who I am and like the person I see in the mirror so I wouldn't change it just to 'fit in'." question today:What does Lizzie inspire you? you can leave your comments here or on my wechat at frankinchina, thank you! ....music********************** *Edited by Frank X;background music:Let Her Go-Passenger;Mr Kill-Cathy Davey; The Road To You-My Little Bear
