Bubble tea is very popular in America.
在California，更多的时候，把“珍珠奶茶”叫作：boba tea。
奶茶started in Taiwan（始于中国台湾），then Japan，然后迅速在西方made its way（杀出一条销路）。

American Boba brands：
美国也有中国的本土品牌（local brands）：CoCo, Hey Tea, Tiger Sugar
California also has its very famous local brands（加州的本土品牌）：
Boba Guys, Urban Ritual and Purple Cow

Boba和rice, dumplings, pho（米粉）, soy sauce（酱油）, Korean barbecue一样，都已经成为Asian-American popular culture（亚裔美国人流行文化）的tokens（标记），是一种identity（文化象征）。
