The South Korean army has been mobilized in the region near Daegu, which has been worst hit by corona virus, as the country reports a sharp rise in the number of people contracting the illness. Soldiers are disinfecting large parts of Daegu city. Laura Becca is our correspondent in Seoul. The majority of cases have centered on the worst hit area of Daegu where this church was based. And we're told around 80% of church members know how the virus, 3000 people are said to be showing symptoms of corona virus. So authorities are warning there could be a spike, could be a rise and of more cases in the coming days. 10 patients are critically ill, another 16 are seriously ill in hospital and 17 people so far have died. Health officials on the West Coast of the United States have confirmed three more unexplained corona virus cases, an indication that the virus could be spreading within the community.
