Future core, also known as Future Hardcore, is a genre that blends the rhythm and energy of Happy Hardcore with the sound design qualities of Future Bass. It has been recognised as a genre among dōjin musicians since the release of a Future core compilation album by lapix in mid-2017, and other dōjin artists such as PSYQUI have established the genre in the following years.
J-Future Core同时具有Hardcore的高速能量和Future Bass特征的声音设计，于2017和2018年分别在Soundcloud上发行的两张「FÜGENE」系列专辑定义了这种来自日本的风格。
