This release evolves around the sound that was starting to emerge in METAX; skillfully combining a plethora of glitches and breaks with well crafted ambient. If I were to compare the current sound of Access To Arasaka to any other band it would be Gridlock. Every beat is designed to progress the song and dynamically adapts to highlight the ambient aspects. Also, like Gridlock, the synthwork is beautiful and thought out, creating a consistent and distinct style throughout the release. If this is a prelude to Access To Arasaka's next album, then it may be Tympanik's biggest release of the year.
