Tax：(辩论税收政策)
take the bait 上钩
The fish took the bait. 鱼儿上钩了

那个可怜的女孩上当被骗走了所有的钱，随后她自杀了。(commit suicide自杀)

tax evasion 逃税
He tried to evade tax. 他试图逃税。

Fifth Amendment 美国宪法第五修正案，公民可依次拒绝回答提问，以免陷入有罪指控的困境
plead the fifth运用第五修正案 (plead有恳求、认罪的意思，如认罪plead guilty，这里是指“以…为借口”)

We shouldn’t be racist. 我们不应该有种族歧视的想法。

3. Securing America 辩题三：如何保障美国安全？
ISIS — 被人深恶痛绝的恐怖组织

stamina 精力
You don’t have the stamina to continue this campaign.
你没有精力继续这次竞选活动。

fact-check 事实调查
After the debate, many people start fact-checking their claims.
辩论后，很多人开始针对他们所说的内容进行事实调查。

see eye to eye 看法一致
They actually don't see eye to eye. 他们看法并不相同。
