On the evening of October 3, the first individual champion of the WTT China Grand Slam was decided. In the mixed doubles final, the sixth-seeded pair Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha defeated the rising national table tennis duo Huang Youzheng and Chen Yi with a 3-0 victory, claiming their first Grand Slam mixed doubles title in the new Olympic cycle. Wang Chuqin remarked after the match, "We achieved effective and efficient communication during the game, and the execution of our tactics, as well as our control over the pace of the match, was quite good." Reflecting on their mixed doubles journey in this event, Sun Yingsha said, "We are gradually regaining our best form through each match. Since we chose to enter the mixed doubles event, we will give our all to perform well."
