(左) The Boss is Donny's boss and a chronic alcoholic who ignored Donny's warnings about TMK. However, once his son Brent Cole fell victim to TMK, he interrogated Donny about the virus and his involvement with its spread.

(右) Donny Smith is a beta tester for Kirby Super Star, he discovered TMK early on during development and tried to warn the higher-ups about it (to no avail). Having named TMK and introduced it to the interface of the game, TMK infected Donny and killed Brent Cole (among many others) just to get his attention and find the answer to its own existence.
