文牧野的《我不是药神》取材于真实事件，讲述了追求生命而生命毁灭的悲剧与救赎。影片以现实主义的叙事手法，展现了假药贩与办案者、慢粒白血病人与医药代表之间的情与法、病与药的矛盾冲突，并对这些叙事冲突给予了人情化的关照。影片与其说是关于小人物成长蜕变的故事，不如说它巧妙地对某些社会困境进行了症候式呈现。这种呈现，既体现了导演的现实化追求，也上升为大众对社会的理性思考。影片最终以一种合情合法的方式，用宽容与善意为这些社会困境开了"一剂良药"。
 
Based on real events, Wen Muye's Dying To Survive tells the tragedy and redemption of the pursuit of life and the destruction of life. With realistic narrative techniques, the film shows the contradictions and conflicts between fake drug dealers and case handlers, chronic leukemia patients and medical representatives, and gives humanistic care to these narrative conflicts. The film is not so much a story about the growth and transformation of little people as it is a clever symptom presentation of certain social dilemmas. This presentation not only reflects the director's pursuit of reality, but also rises to the public's rational thinking of society. In the end, in a legitimate way, the film offers a "cure" for these social dilemmas with tolerance and goodwill.
