"This demo was given to me by someone a long time ago (I don't even remember who) who had access to quite a few unreleased Sonny tracks, which leads me to believe that it is indeed legitimate. As many of you already know, Sonny is known for recycling old melodies and stems from his old band days and using them for Skrillex tracks, like he did with All I Ask of You, With You Friends, FOTY, Slats, Needed Change, and Leaving just to name a few. I believe a vocal version of this demo also likely exists that was the source of the chopped Sonny vocals heard in the 2011 version. I was given this in confidence and only rediscovered it after cleaning out my old Dropbox folders. I figured there's likely no harm in sharing it at this point in 2018 so enjoy!" Holy fuck this track is sooo beautiful, the released Summit is already amazing but this version is 100 times more beautiful. It's crazy to see how this original idea developed into what it is today. It's also crazy to think about how many unreleased tracks Sonny has made over the course of leaving From First To Last to being one of the most famous producers, Sonny probably has tracks none of us will ever hear. This pre Skrillex unreleased stuff might be lost forever but the unreleased Skrillex tracks might see the light of day at some point. Who knows if Sonny still even has hard drives of these pre Skrillex tracks when he was going by Sonny, anyways enjoy.
