Like I stated in the preview, this is a planned project from all the way back in 2017 when I started a close friendship with Vinpie. (I'll have you know that to this day he is an even closer friend than he was 5 years ago.)

Now why did it take so long to come up with something as simple as this track, you ask? I would usually just make a new project file only to be adding in the lead of MISFORTUNE and just use a different instrument apart from the OG MEGALOVANIA lead instrument. The MISFORTUNE lead just sounds blatantly wrong to me with that instrument.

But back to what I was saying.
For this version, I have come up with a style that one could consider "Vaporwavey"?? I was moreso planning on making this sound intense, yet old-fashioned, something you would hear in a TV show's theme back then.

I've also got to thank @jamangar for finding the STMPWYFS reverse cymbal sample. She reminded me of how the sound is literally just at the end of the STMPWYFS track, so I only just had to trim the sound out of the song haha.

One thing I need to mention is how I never really liked the "MISFORTUNE trope" with the elevator music. (btw no i am NOT claustrophobic) No offense to anybody who made their own glamorous covers on the song! They're still very good in their own way. I just felt that right now was a perfect time to go back to the basics with that Garageband magic Vinpie always has with his music.
