a LOT to go into detail about this one
yeah so the megalo for my sona/character/self insert/whatever you wanna call it has actually been in development for months now. it's went through a bunch of different concepts and ideas, and i think this is finally the one... that i'm content with.
thank you to everyone for the support.
this song is meant to represent an internal struggle i've had my entire life, which has taken over much of the past several months
i don't mean to downplay any sort of mental illness by saying this. everyone hurts inside. all i'm saying is to keep an eye out for your friends alright? don't be embarrassed to ask if they're ok
ok cheesy moral aside
it was mainly inspired by these megalovanias:
Xylium – Dispassionate
George_r1 – Fallen-stars-our-broken-constellations
A-gentle-breeze – The-end-of-all-things
without these having existed, well. i never would've got the idea for this. even though the final product doesn't sound very similar, i think some concepts transferred over, and a lot of the initial concepts sounded a lot like one or the other
but i just decided going with my usual style and blending it a bit would be best
in any case, i wanted to thank everyone who helped me out with this.
