Troye says of the collaboration:

"I think that’s the most nervous I’ve ever been for a session, but we came in and we completely brought our A game."

Lyrically, Troye reminisces on a previous relationship that he hasn’t quite gotten over, and the bittersweet moments that defined it, using the duality of strawberries and cigarettes as a metaphor for memory.
