after watching Porter's new Nuture live set, it reminded me to stop holding on to perfection and put things out despite that flaws I think they have. anyways all these songs I re-did the mix for almost all of them LOL so these are all older sounding demos

it's been a while since I posted anything, this set was actually done back in September that I did for a virtual show. it's all unreleased songs that I've been sitting on.

I didn't wanna put this out at all and wasn't planning to because I feel like the mixing on every single track is so bad that it was almost embarrassing to put out publicly. I want all my music to sound "perfect" and all I hear are the flaws and there's a voice in my head that tells me that everyone hears it too.

that being said, I've been learning to let go of this mindset. I scrutinize everything I do so heavily and put myself down for not being top level at everything to the point where I paralyze myself from moving forward. It's always scary for me to put out music, I've worked on some songs for years literally just tweaking trying to make it right and getting so angry and frustrated with myself that I want to quit.

I've considering quitting sososo many times this past year, the little voice in my head tells me I'm just adding to the noise. I still am in a fight with myself about whether or not I want to quit, but I think in the end, every musician that says they want to quit ends up never quitting.
