The official Weibo of our school is honorably awarded with “the most creative Weibo in universities in 2018” prize. Currently, the National New Media Forum of Universities and the Campus of Weibo was held in Beijing.
The theme of this forum is“cohesion·breakout·leading”，which thoroughly explore the new trend and thought of the university new media. Recently years, with the leading of the CPC committee of our school, the new medias（Weibo and Wechat Subscription）‘s comprehensive influence ranks the first in Hebei province and ranks near the top of all universities in China.The new medias of our school continue recording the reform development and serving for the teachers and schoolfellows positively with both of the strong timeliness of news and flexibility of media interaction.

On Tuesday, the Pew Research Center reportedthat the number of immigrants staying in theUnited States without permission fell to aten-year low in 2016.
Researchers used government data to show thatfrom 2007 to 2016, the number of undocumentedimmigrants dropped from 12.2 million to 10.7million.
Pew linked the decrease to a large reduction inthe number of Mexicans crossing the U.S. borderillegally. However, the number of immigrants from ElSalvador, Guatemala and Honduras trying tocross over from Mexico illegally was up.Central America is the only region for whichthere was an increase in undocumentedimmigrants during the period of the study.
Arrests of Central Americans at the U.S.-Mexicoborder have also risen.But Pew researchers said arrests remained wellbelow their highest number in 2014.Researchers found that two-thirds of adult unauthorized immigrants have lived in the U.S.for more than 10 years.Most unauthorized immigrants enter the U.S. onlegal visas and remain after their visas reach theend of the period of stay they permit.The latest overstay report showed that morethan 700,000 holders of visas whose time limitshad been reached should have left in the 2017 fiscal year.Pew said 90 percent of overstays were from countries other than Mexico or Central America.Pew noted that forced expulsions - called deportations - of undocumented immigrants rose during the years when George W. Bush andBarack Obama were president.Deportations reached their highest point in 2013.These deportations could have affected thedecrease in the undocumented population.In the fiscal year 2016, most deportations wereof people from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvadorand Honduras.The report showed that based on limited data,deportations appear to have declined since then.It also shows a decline in those arrested at theU.S.-Mexico border, as well as an increase inthose arrested inside the United States.
