Today marks the 30th anniversary（纪念日） of the Iranian hostage（人质） crisis（危机）. And President Obama said that he wants to move beyond the past and build a relationship with Iran based on mutual（互相的） interest（利益） and mutual respect. U.S.-Iran relations had been hostile（敌对的） since the day that Islamic students stormed（攻击，横冲直撞） the U.S. embassy（大使馆） in Tehran and held 52 Americans hostage for more than 400 days.
