介绍： Hello everyone! My name is Maria and I am from México, and I want to thank Marcella for inviting me here today to give a little piece of Mexico to you guys.
We both love music and I honestly don’t know what I would do without it. So I am very happy to do this.
Mexican music is very diverse, with influence from a lot of cultures yet unique in a way. It has evolved throughout the years but maintained the roots of its heritage.
Most foreigners will often associate Mexican music to mariachi and that’s right, it is one of the traditional Mexican music. It was recognized by the UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage. But there is still so much more to uncover and I am here to show you.
This playlist was created with two main topics: traditional Mexican music and modern music. Each song was elected (very difficultly) with care to show as best as possible what Mexican music sound like.
