[11:26.09]Many people feel that finding a job successfully
[11:29.28]is the end of their schooling.
[11:32.03]This idea is rarely true, however,
[11:34.77]as each field of work requires a thorough knowledge of it.
[11:38.64]This may go beyond what could be learned
[11:40.70]in high school or university.
[11:43.49]Universities, with their complete curriculum,
[11:46.01]are intended to first teach us about everything.
[11:49.81]Later studies fill in the gap of knowledge
[11:52.23]by offering more specialized courses.
[11:55.42]Universities, however, are meant to teach
[11:57.68]the theories of any particular field,
[12:00.41]not the practical knowledge needed to do our jobs.
