[12:22.08]Those wishing to continue their education could work as a teaching assistant, or T.A.
[12:29.06]A teaching assistant usually works about twenty hours each week.
[12:34.78]Teaching assistants are paid to help professors teach students in entry-level study programs.
[12:41.81]Generally, the professor gives a talk, or lecture,
[12:46.31]to a large group of students one or two times a week.
[12:50.29]The teaching assistant meets with smaller groups of students during the week.
[12:55.57]The T.A. gives tests and reads any homework or reports the students may be required to write.
