小朋友，你想过自己长大后另一半的样子吗？今天故事的主人公美丽的鼠小姐长大了，是时候让鼠爸爸和鼠妈妈为她挑选一位如意郎君了，可是她会满意嘛？来听听吧。
This story is about Father Mouse, Mother Mouse, Miss Mouse, the sun, a cloud, the wind, a wall and a handsome young mouse.
这是一个发生在鼠爸爸，鼠妈妈，鼠小姐，太阳，云朵，风，以及一堵墙和一个年轻英俊的鼠先生之间的故事。
Once there was a family of mice - Father Mouse, Mother Mouse and little Miss Mouse.
从前这里住着老鼠一家——鼠爸爸、鼠妈妈和美丽可爱的鼠小姐。
And then one day Miss Mouse wasn’t so little anymore.
然后有一天，鼠小姐长大了，她不再是小姑娘了。
“Goodness me!” said Father Mouse.
“天哪！”鼠爸爸望着个子都要和自己一般高的鼠小姐惊呼道。
“It’s time you got married.”
“你是时候该结婚了。” Get married意思是结婚。
“Pack your bag,” he said. “We’re going on a journey.”
“收拾好你的包袱，”他说。“我们要去旅行了。” Journey旅行
“We must find you the best, most powerful husband in the world.”
“我们必须给你找到世界上最优秀、最有力量的丈夫。” Husband丈夫
“Who could that be?” asked Miss Mouse.
“那会是谁？”鼠小姐问。
Farther Mouse thought for a moment.
鼠爸爸皱着眉头思索片刻。
“The sun!” he said.
“是太阳sun！”他说。
“He makes our days bright and warm, and helps the flowers grow. Let’s ask him.”
“是他让我们的一天充满光明和温暖，使花卉生长。让我们去问问他吧。”
The mouse family climbed a high mountain.
于是老鼠一家爬上了一座高山high mountain.
他们走啊走，走了好久。
“Are we nearly there yet?”
“我们快到了吗？”鼠小姐跟在后面不停地追问。
他们终于到了山顶，可是太阳还在天空上空工作呢，于是
They waited until evening, when the sun was low in the sky.
他们一直等到晚上太阳从天空上落下来。
“Oh Mr. Sun,” said Father Mouse.
“You are more powerful than anyone else in the world…”
“…aren’t you?”
“哦，太阳先生，”鼠爸爸说。
“你比世界上任何人都强大……”
“……不是吗？“
“Powerful? Me?” said the sun. “Oh no, I don’t think so.”
“强大？我？”太阳摇了摇头。
“哦，不，我不这么认为。”
“Look at that cloud,” said the sun.
“He can cover my face, and block all my light and warmth. There’s nothing I can do.”
“你看那片云朵，”太阳指了指不远处的云朵说。
“他能遮住我的脸，并阻止我所有的光和热。我什么也做不了。”
“Well, then, we must talk to the cloud,” said Father Mouse.
“好吧，那么，我们必须跟云朵谈谈了，”鼠爸爸说。
The mouse family went a little way down the mountain and slept until morning.
于是老鼠一家沿着一条小路下山休息，一直睡到第二天天亮。
