* HUMANS and MONSTERS fought because of their differences, but they were also fighting for their freedom to live.
* In the logic of the HUMANS, the MONSTERS were exactly what they are.

* The HUMANS believed they had to slay the MONSTERS to be free.
* The war came to an end with the humans casting the last seal on the monsters. Ensuring they become trapped.
