“I think the biggest hurdle I kept coming across, over and over again, was me thinking I wasn't cut out for this path.

I wanted to quit, like, five times because it was so difficult.

I felt really lonely when I first came to Korea.

I felt like I didn’t have any friends at that time, and I missed my friends and my life back at home.

My mom always told me I could come back whenever I wanted, and I know she meant it, but I don't know, I just always felt bad and sorry towards her.

Just the thought of her alone was enough to motivate me.

She trusted me to work towards my dream.

If I just give up, I would feel irresponsible.

I didn’t want to become an irresponsible person.

It’s still one of my best decisions I’ve ever made—to keep going.

Because gradually over time, jumping over this particular hurdle got easier and easier—especially with the help of my members.

And, of course, CARATS.”
