In his new EP, California-born and Berlin-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Ed Prosek, with Czech and Italian roots, explores the constant feeling of being a foreigner, no matter where he goes. Although he was born in San Francisco, his parents instilled in him a love for Europe, which led him to move there. Working out of his personal studio in Germany, he wrote, produced and performed all of the instruments on "The Foreigner".

"That being said, as an American in Europe I’ll never be fully European, but at the same time when I go home, I feel like a tourist there as well. A strange reality that leaves me confused about my identity and my feelings of “home”. This EP was written in one of the most important/exciting times of my life. It documents the highs and the lows of love and anxiety and it does so from the perspective of my inner monologue. Even though there are some sad songs, there’s a joy throughout the project, and I still have this excitement in my life,” he leaves off. “I hope you feel the same energy. Right now, I’m the best and happiest version of myself I’ve ever been. I feel empowered to do what I was put here to do, which is write music and I’m gonna do just that.”
