In creating the song, the producers had a sports theme in mind and they wanted to give life to the feeling of winning and achieving a level of success and accomplishment. This is embodied by the chanting of “I’m on my way up” in the hook along with the addition of the crowd noise later in the song. BamBam was the perfect artist to personify for his vision and, with him flying to San Francisco to debut the song on April 7th, the title and hook “Wheels Up” made perfect sense and was carried through with the inclusion of an airplane in the song’s artwork. MAYZIN continued the song’s theme by delivering a verse about achieving his goals through hard work and dedication.
