Cold Summer Tongs tells the story of an average insomniac waking up to stare into the fridge and think about his life (In the most roundabout way possible). Imagine Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas meets Forest Gump. Recording sessions for Cold Summer Tongs began in April 2016, yet some songs were written as early as March 2015. Compared to Humans Etcetera's previous LP, RED TAPE, this has a bit more bounce and bite (like the FAST setting on a riding-lawnmower), but it retains the lo-fi and experimental vibe. It was all recorded with three mics and an iPhone.
